For Indians in Vienna and across Austria
A little bit of home, a few streets away.
Kootu is where the Indian community in Austria asks questions, plans get-togethers and helps each other out. Whether it's a room near the VIC, a ride to Salzburg or someone to watch the match with on Sunday, ask Kootu.

Why we built it
Kootu means being together, the company you keep. Moving to a new country is easier when you know who to ask, and most of us found our first flat, our first friends and the shop with the right rice through someone who had been here a little longer.
Those answers used to be scattered across dozens of WhatsApp groups. Kootu puts them in one place, with real profiles, so it's easy to see who you're talking to.
Charcha
Ask the community anything: a good Kerala restaurant, a doctor who speaks Hindi, how the Meldezettel works.
Events
Onam, Diwali, Holi, cricket in the Prater, Bollywood nights. See what's on, who's going, and post your own.
Accommodation
Rooms, flats and flatmates posted by members, with the rent, the district and how far it is to the U-Bahn.
Travel
Share a car to Hallstatt or find someone flying to Kochi who has space for a parcel.
Messages
Talk one to one about a listing, an event or a trip, without giving out your number.
